Louie Blithe
As Installation Supervisor at TRG for nearly 10 years, Louie coordinates
install staff and subcontractors. He supervises and performs audio,
video, lighting and projection installations and service calls. His
certifications include NSCA Advanced Sound Design & Estimating, Strand
Commissioning School and BSS Audio.

Troy Bornman
Troy Bornman, Regional Sales Manager, Crown International. 14 year Crown
employee, spent 5 years in Technical Support Dept supporting the
application of Crown in sound systems.

Glenn Collinge
Glenn Collinge began his full time career in professional sound touring
with rock bands in 1976. In 1981, he was installing broadcast video and
A/V projects in the southeastern US. In 1988 Glenn began
design/engineering audio/visual systems and in 2001 embarked on his
current position at FSR. His position at FSR has him in direct
communication with architects, engineering firms and audiovisual design
firms on a daily basis.
He has been very involved with the audio and video technical ministries
in his church for 19 years. This included one year of a youth “portable”
church, building a new church sanctuary, weekly services support with
sound, video & lighting as well as serving as a volunteer Technical
Director for 5 years in Atlanta, Ga. He is now serving the tech
ministries at the Church of the Way in Lawrenceville, GA,

Glenn has a passion for educating and has taught classes at WFX, NAB,
Inspiration, LDI, NSCA, NRB as well as many other regional conferences.
Glenn is a Regional Sales Manager with FSR Inc., which manufactures all
of their products in the USA. FSR is a green manufacturer of metal and
electronic products.

Gary Dixon
As National Sales Manager for CAD Audio - Astatic Commercial in Solon,
Ohio, Gary is responsible for North America sales, product development
and brand marketing under the commercial audio division of CAD Audio.
Gary has a B.A. in Electronic Media Production from Ashland University
in Ashland, Ohio. He started his career as a freelance audio/video
engineer working with customers such as the Cleveland Indians, Akron
Symphony Orchestra, Cleveland Orchestra, US Food Service, PBS, and the
House of the Lord. Gary continues to work in his community volunteering
his time with the summer "concerts on the green", assisting with the
local cable television station's productions and general audio/video
consulting and training with churches, schools, and assisted living
facilities in Northeast Ohio. Gary continues his education as a member
of the A/V Integration community. He has successfully completed
Syn-Aud-COn Sound System Optimization Seminar and attended many classes
and discussion organized by AES and infoComm.

Don Ekema
Don is a lay volunteer with experience in church tech running audio,
video, lighting, and more for many years. He produced stock photography
where he first ran into copyright issues. Now, as President of Wow Me
Now Shows, Inc., he produces Christmas light shows synchronized to music
bringing with it a whole new set of copyright issues.

Donn Groenewoud
Twenty years ago, after many years of leading worship in children's
church, Donn was asked to run sound in the main sanctuary of his church.
Always willing to follow God's leading, he said yes, but quickly found
out how much he needed to learn, and no one in his church knew. Donn is
grateful to TRG and Techxplosion for being part of that learning
process. Donn mixes sound regularly for the contemporary service at his
church, and teaches new sound techs the ropes. Donn's heart is for the
volunteer sound tech, and he teaches a class for churches looking to
improve their knowledge of what it takes to do church sound.

Luis Guerra
Luis Guerra has been actively involved in the professional audiovisual
industry since 1989. He has extensive knowledge and experience with many
aspects of AV and IT systems, facilities design, product support,
product development, training, user interfaces, and RF technology. He
has worked for Shure for over 13 years, and is currently Associate
Manager of Technical Training, with a particular emphasis on products
for installed sound and advanced wireless microphone training. With his
electrical engineering background and extensive understanding of
commercial audio systems, Luis has ib contributed significantly to the
design and development of Shure’s entire line of digital audio products.
Throughout the various positions Luis has held at Shure, including
Applications Engineer, Product Development Specialist, and Sales
Engineer, he has become a knowledgeable, effective presenter and is
recognized for his ability to explain complex technical subjects in a
way that everyone can understand. Luis has presented seminars and
workshops on Shure products and audio principles all over the world.

Pat Hamp

Experience: Corporate Meetings, Ralston Purina Company Freelance Audio
Engineer, CBS, TNN, FOX, Carolina Sports, UVA Sports. Nashville wireless
designer for numerous performers, Brooks and Dunn, Alan Jackson, Randy
Travis, Reba McEntire, Alabama and others. Church and live audio mixing
and comms design and implementation for various large venues.
Currently, Southeast and Caribbean Manager Clear Com Intercom Systems
since, 1996 Prior lead sales engineer at Systems Wireless Ltd.

Richard Hill
Richard Hill is the Southeast Market Development Manager for Digital
Projection International. For over three years, he has worked closely
with the top-level sales, marketing and applications divisions of all of
DP’s worldwide hubs. Specializing in application and sales support, as
well as product training and demonstration, Hill addresses the needs of
the large screen worship market from DP’s Atlanta headquarters.

Buford Jones
Buford Jones is legendary in the world of sound reinforcement. Having
started his touring career at Showco in the 1970's, the list of those he
has mixed since is a genuine "Who's Who" of pop music of the last three
decades, including Stevie Wonder, Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd, George
Harrison, James Taylor, ZZ Top, Pat Benatar, Three Dog Night, Prince, Al
Jarreau, Linda Ronstadt, Jackson Browne, David Bowie, Faith Hill, The
Kinks, Clint Black, and Counting Crows. As Pink Floyd's FOH mixer, Jones
gained valuable experience from the unusual opportunity to mix a major
tour in surround. From Jones' post heading Meyer Sound's Nashville
office he remains in constant contact with touring engineers and
productions of all genres.

Michael Laiacona
Michael Laiacona is the president and founder of Whirlwind. He has been
in the pro-audio industry for 35 years and was a founding member of MXR
Innovations, Delta Amplifiers, and Whirlwind. Michael spent 38 years as
a touring musician and system designer, and installer. Many national
stadiums, theme parks, government projects, and touring sound have used
his products and designs.

Jesse Lewis
Jesse Lewis is President of WorshipFilms.com, a Christian media company
established in 2001. He also owns a local video production company in
Rocky Mount, NC, and is a frequent conference and workshop speaker.

Kent Margraves
Kent Margraves has many years of experience as a full-time, professional
worship audio director and mixer focusing on sound reinforcement, live
recording, post production and broadcast audio of worship events of
varied styles and sizes including worship services, concerts, pageants,
conferences, and tours. He now concentrates on Worship and Installed
Sound applications at Sennheiser Electronic Corporation and operates TCG
Media part-time, which supports worship ministries through audio mixing
and training services.

Kam McCormick
Technical Sales Manager for Leviton Manufacturing, a major supplier of
entertainment lighting equipment, Kam’s entire professional career has
been in the areas of lighting and lighting control. He possesses both
engineering and theatrical design academic background coupled with over
25 years in the lighting business. Attendees can expect a lively, fast
paced, interactive presentation.

Jonathan Parker
Jonathan has worked in the Audio Industry for over 20 years for
companies providing solutions to the house of worship community,
including Bose and Crown. In various training and management positions,
he has conducted workshops for church praise teams all over the world
and currently is employed by Aviom, the manufacturer of personal monitor
mixer and audio networking solutions, serving as Regional Manager for
the Southeast USA, Canada and Latin America. “JP” is also very active at
his local church in the Atlanta area, both running sound as well as
singing, and playing keyboards and bass. “Staying actively involved with
my praise team helps keeps me in tune with the challenging needs of
contemporary technical, musical, and worship leading staff ”.

Justin Spence
An established guitarist, vocalist, engineer, and producer, PreSonus
Product Specialist and Customer Support representative Justin Spence
graduated from the SAE Institute of Technology, then worked as an
instructor and supervisor at the New York and Nashville campuses of the
school before joining PreSonus. In addition to his work with PreSonus,
he owns and operates the All Audio mobile recording service in Baton
Rouge, Louisiana, and engineers projects at Alliance Recording Studios
in Miami, Florida.

Steen Sorensen
As a graduate in Electronic Engineering Technology, Steen first joined
Eiki in 1979, ultimately becoming Vice President of Technical Services.
In 1989, seeking a change in career, he became Western Regional Sales
Manager for Eiki, a position he held until 1996 when he decided to
broaden his experience. Over the intervening 10 years Steen has
contributed his expertise as Western Regional Sales Manager to several
other significant members of the ProAV industry. He returned to Eiki in
2006 having amassed a wealth of additional experience in business
relationships, adding to his body of knowledge of the ProAV industry.

Tom Stanziano
Tom Stanziano is pleased to take part in his 2nd Techxplosion. His
twenty-year career in lighting has taken him from lighting local bands
to cruise ship productions to a down-home theme park and on to designing
television lighting for the largest mega-church in the United States.
His experience in lighting design allowed him to create looks for
professional artists such as Martina McBride, Temptations, and Mega
Churches Lakewood Church in Houston Creflo Dollar's World Changers. Tom
also toured with Joel Osteen for 4 years, creating attractive and
innovative lighting and set design. His newest endeavor is with
Seachanger by Ocean Thin Films division in Largo, Florida. This current
appointment will allow him to impact the worship market by demonstrating
the proper use of lighting techniques whether it is a drama or a worship
service.

James Ure
I started my full time audio career in 1989 after completing an in
recording engineering at the Recording Workshop in Chillicothe, Ohio.
Since that time I have worked with SoundWorks in Richmond, VA as a live
sound engineer running FOH and monitors, FloodZone Studios as a second
engineer, Star America Studios as first engineer and Co-Owner to name a
few. After moving to California, I and two others, created Media
Kitchen. Media Kitchen included Live Sound Reinforcement rentals,
Recording Studio (landed and remote), Rehearsal Studios and System
integration and design. Media Kitchen operated successfully through
2/2008. In 2000 I moved back to Virginia where I worked with Point
Source Audio. Point Source Audio designed and installed sound systems
throughout central Virginia while at the same time providing sound
reinforcement services for local events and festivals. Currently I am
the Sr. Product Development Specialist for DBX Professional Products for
the Harman Music Group. In this role I provide presales and post sales
training for all DBX products via direct client visits, on-site training
seminars and WebEx training sessions. I work with the installed sound
team at HMG to pinpoint potential new products and new markets to
further the adoption of DBX and BSS products within the greater audio
industry. In addition I provide Trade Show support where I speak
directly with potential customers and show them how DBX and BSS products
will save them time, money and easily fit into any audio system
application.

Chuck Walthall
Chuck Walthall is founder and president of Walthall & Associates, Inc. a
Pensacola, Florida based corporation specializing in acoustics,
technical system training, design-consulting and system management;
providing 28+ years of knowledge and experience in the technical systems
industry. Chuck recently authored & published "Sound Made Simple SMS iCD",
an interactive training curriculum that teaches the basic fundamentals
of audio and acoustics.
